Laura has done an amazing job in motivating the community to fighting for the ferry. Even more, she has gotten us to fall in love with the ferry. Its a real love affair that shall never die. Every person needs to sail on that ferry and try to take beautiful pics as Laura does. Thank you so much Laura.

Laura Deckelman worked tirelessly for our community to get a ferry for the people of Rockaway. It is only fitting that the dock be named after her. She continued working for this goal when most people gave up.
