Mrs. Haskett was my 8th grade math teacher at KJH and Mr. Haskett was my principal at KHS! Class of 1985...always friendly and encouraging... I still see them both serving in Katy at the polls during elections! Supporter of Katy FFA and KHS football games!

Bill Haskett is a Katy ISD Treasure!!! I went to school will Bill, heard he was a great KHS Principal and mentor to students, have enjoyed hearing him announce many football games, appreciate the way he handles KISD elections, and know he is the driving force and backbone of the KHS Alumni Association. His life is, and has been, KISD. He well represents the EXCELLENCE and LEGACY of KISD. Ann Thompson Davis, Class of 1962

No one cares more about children and the greater Katy area than Bill Haskett. I have worked with, fellowshipped and known Bill Haskett for 43 years. Bill is a true ambassador for children and his character would serve as a benchmark for all future namesakes.

Bill Hastings has supported the Katy ISD through many avenues. I would be proud to know that he has been recognized in a manner suitable.

Mr. Bill Haskett was a bright light at Katy High school. I never had one-on-one interaction with Mr Haskett but he was a PRESENCE among the students. He walked the halls talking to the kids, calling them by name, KNOWING them and, with every step and every word, giving the students value and confidence in who they were and could be. That is the kind of teacher and administrator that changes lives for the better - that truly changes the future. I was blessed to have many teachers and administrators of this caliber during my years in Katy ISD (1973-1980) and am honored to have known so many people whose names now mark schools throughout the district. Mr. Bill Haskett deserves to join those so honored by KISD. Class of 1980

I loved “Mr. Bill” during my high school years at KHS. He really connected with the students and we respected him. He always made time to talk with us and I will never forget his speech at my 1982 graduation. I credit his inspiration for choosing to have a positive outlook on life.

Mr. Haskett was always encouraging and supportive during my time as a Katy High School student as well as when I returned to Student Teach. He definitely deserves this honor as he has given so much of his life to Katy ISD. He is a role model and a great example of what Katy Pride looks like! KHS Class of 85
