Bill was such a great principal at Katy High School and has done great things since then. He embodies the Katy spirit- approaching each challenge with a calm intelligence and love for what is best for students and the community.

Bill Haskett would be a wonderful choice for a school name. He is a Katy High Graduate class of 61. He has been a contributing member for many yrs.

We had 3 daughters who attended & then graduated from Katy High School when Bill Haskett was principal. He was pretty laid back but always showed interest in & care for our girls. His dedication to KHS, the students & their parents was always apparent. He displayed the highest levels of integrity & positivity. We were all very fortunate to have had him as a principal during such formative years in our kids’ lives. Naming a high school for Bill Haskett would be not only an honor for him, but also an honor for KISD for his name to live on in future years in such an enduring way!

Bill definitely deserves this on her due to all the accomplishments he has given the Katie school district in the past and current. He remains a faithful follower and continues to keep contact with his Katy family

Bill Haskett took a chance and hired a newbie with no experience in public education. My years spent working with him taught me how to be a better professional. Many years were spent watching him invest his heart and soul in the education and well-being of our youth, and watching him actively dedicate himself to making the community a better place to live.
