Bill was principal of Katy HS when my daughter began high school. It was a tough time for her, and Bill showed compassion and went above and beyond to help make her transition to KHS a smooth experience. We will be forever grateful for how he helped her.

KHS class of ‘89.
Mr. Haskett epitomizes the best of Katy ISD. To this day, he still loves to serve in our community. We live in Cross Creek and my daughter will attend high school #9. The school would be honored to have his name.

Mr. Haskett gave me my first Bible in 1981. I still have it and refer to it often. This man directed my life in a positive subtle way. He embodied God’s love.

I was a teacher at Katy High when Bill was the head principal in the early 80’s and 90’s. He is a great man and to name high school #9 in his honor would be an appropriate way to acknowledge his legacy.

I first met Bill Haskett at Memorial Junior High in SBISD. Bill was the assistant principal when I was a student! I remember how kind, caring and compassionate he was to all the students. Mr. Haskett has dedicated his entire life to education and I cannot think of a better person to name KISD's high school #9 after.
