Every time I've encountered Mr Reynolds, he's been very approachable and friendly, and always of good humor. The students have always said nothing but good things about him. If he is removed from the school, the place wouldn't be the same and the school would lose much of its character.

Both schools have declining enrollment. This petition is not about one school vs. the other. It’s about the right people for the merged school community.

The reality is that prior to the arrival of D. Perda, HN and Ed Reynolds had just completed their Life Science Biotech Learning Center, as well as the renovation of the Performing Arts Center and gymnasium. At that point HN also had an enrollment on the rise contrary to the other high schools. Ed Reynolds was the inspirational leader in all of this. Upon Perda’s arrival, we saw the resignation of Bernie Audette and Anne Kennedy as the result of Perda’s actions, and the elimination of Ed Reynold’s Headmaster job. A shovel ready solar project that would have paid the school $50,000 per year for 20 years was denied by Perda who said the Bishop was not interested at that time (when later asked about the project the Bishop claimed it was the first he was hearing of it). In addition, a $1,000,000 gift in kind for a turf athletic field at HN was denied, this after Perda had earlier given permission to pursue the project. Contrary as well to the other high schools, Ed Reynolds each and every year ran the school in the black while the other schools, operating at substantial losses, bled money from the Diocese. The vengeful way that Ed Reynolds has been treated over the last 3 years is a disgrace. And for him to not be AT LEAST named principal is inexplicable.

Hello, We have had several positive experiences over our 12 years of sending our children to Holy Name’n we want Mr Reynolds.. we trust him and have faith that he will continue to deliver a quality education!!

Mr. Reynolds is amazing. Losing him would be a disaster. On a side-note let’s get rid of favoritism and nepotism when it comes to faculty and coaches (especially coaches). Not everyone who is related to each other is equally talented and qualified. You have a chance to create something amazing RIGHT NOW. Let’s get it right for the sake of our kids!!!

I feel like if we have to merge as a school to keep SPM going, why does Holy Name have to suffer and lose our faculty.

My son was 2 years ago at Holy Name so I know Mr.Reynolds personally !I’m strongly agree for him to be principal of the new school !

If the Bishop can't recognize Mr. Reynolds as a conduit for peace and unification with the merger between these two schools... all is lost.

Mr. Reynolds makes the entire school community feel like family. He cares about our wellbeing’s, he cares about the adults we will soon evolve to be. He deserves to stay!
