LISTEN TO THE STUDENTS!!!
Our children should have a say in this !
In the Superintendent’s letter sent out Friday he states:
“Hats off to the children who are helping to lead the way..”.
ARE they listening ??

Ed Reynolds is the glue that has held Holy Name together since the destruction of the administrative team because the teachers, students and parents KNOW that his only priority is the students and the wellbeing of the teachers. The promise to select a principal from internal applicants, as promised at the only parent/ superintendent meeting, must have been a lie — because there is no other applicant more knowledgeable, capable or willing than Ed Reynolds.

Mr. Reynolds is the leadership that this new school needs. From the beginning of being told about the merger he has done nothing but try to guide the HN community to embrace the merger with faith and hope...His role at HN has impacted the parents, students, and staff. He is always present and looking to make the best impact on the future of his students and the school. He knows every child and their history. His open door has been a blessing to both students and parents. This New School community will be lost without him guiding it into the future..

Mr. Reynolds is an intergral part of this community. He should have been allowed to remain in his position as he is the perfect role model for the students.

It is sad to see the outdated management style in this merger situation. It is clear Mr. Reynolds is the leader needed in this situation. Someone who's approachable, who has an open communication style and is visible to everyone everyday; someone who's not afraid to talk with people.

As an alumni of Holy Name, I believe Mr. Reynolds would be the best fit to be Principal. He cares about each and every student.

Mr. Reynolds is respected by the students and the parents. He his devoted to the school and to make sure our kids get the best education and experience while maintaining the core values we have raised are kids with. It is a shame that the bishop refuses to answer questions and refuses to look at the care and devotion Mr Reynolds has for Holy Name. It will be a shame to name Mr Clark as the principal as he has failed in the process as his role as head of schools to do what is best for these students and the process he put in place to merge these school together. I urge the Bishop to come out from behind closed doors and take charge of a situation that needs attention from people other than Mr Clark.
