My daughter cried during Algebra today when she heard the news. We cannot imagine being at a school without Mr.
Reynolds. Never thought we would be driven from a school we love because of the stupidity of the Catholic Schools Office. Grateful to be the parent of 4 Holy Name alumni. So sad my youngest has to go through this. Mr. Reynolds is the best.

Ed Reynolds truly has the best interest of all the students as his mission as head of Holy Name. On the first day of varsity basketball practice he came and talked to the parents, stressed that basketball, theater, art, academics were all second to character and integrity. That the kids on that team may not be the best athletes but displayed the qualities to represent Holy Name After having 5 kids going through Catholic School for 12 years this totally validated my reason for choosing Catholic School! He has the qualities of integrity and character that the diocese needs to lead the future of Catholic education.

It is a travesty that Ed was not named Principal. I pray the church does the right thing.

Mr Reynolds should be named Principal of the new merger school. Why are they throwing away all the good he has done to make HN a successful school that it is. It's in the best interest of the students.

Mr. Reynolds is the most caring, involved school principal that I have ever seen and deserves to be kept on as principal of the combined schools.

Mr Reynolds was instrumental to my reading comprehension, which was a centerpiece to my future law practice. Mr Mojo Risin, apt both in utility and relevance at the time. DO IT

With respect, my children have been involved at HN over a 20 year span. I'm not interested in what they are looking for, I am interested in what I have seen. I have seen under Mr. Reynolds the successful consolidation of Jr. High building into the Senior High, the implementation of clean energy program, the fruition of dept. Improvements such as the Theater and Science with future plan for fields etc. I have seen him think outside the box to keep our student population up by implementing the international student program. I have seen that he values family, students, and parents while going above and beyond his daily duties by overseeing drop off every morning and watch the pride he has in this school as he bends over to pick up any piece of trash he sees on his way into school after the last student. I can honestly say it is a better school today than it was in 2005 when my daughter graduated. Time for the Bishop to listen to what the families have to say. The condescending attitude, lack of involvement, and digraceful display of Catholic values that has been demonstrated by Dr. Perda and Michael Clark during interactions with parents makes it apparent that they believe they know better than the whole community. I want my sons future to be influenced by a good and caring man, if he ever spoke to people or behaved in the manner of these two men I would be ashamed. Success in life is measured by your actions and the lives you have positively impacted. I can't think of a more successful man than Ed Reynolds.

Even a child makes himself known by his acts, by whether his conduct is pure and upright, Matthew 18:10. Shame on them!

Mr.Reynolds greeted me every morning with a smile and a hello. Highlight of my mornings and what I looked forward to. He helped motivate me through every day. Don’t rob another child the same joy he provides. You’re shooting yourself in the foot if you lose him.

I hope for everyone involved, especially the students, they realize what a terrible mistake they’ve made. Nobody will match Ed’s dedication to the school and community.
