I am really disappointed at this merge and think the diocese has embraced the “Walmart” mentality of how to treat their employees. Shame on you.

I can’t imagine my four years at Holy Name without Mr. Reynolds. He has so much love for his students and would be an amazing principal at the merged school. It is absolutely outrageous that he was not asked to be the principal, especially since he is so well-loved by Holy Name students and would welcome every student who walks through the doors of the merged school. Mr. Reynolds deserves this job more than anyone, and this injustice will not be met with silence.

In my four years at HN, and even before, Mr. Reynolds was the face and the smile of the school. He brought so much joy and enthusiasm to the kids. He will continue to do that, give him the job.

I read today’s announcement with dismay. I trust him with my children’s education. I am deeply concerned that the Acting Principal does not appear to have experience as the administrator of a school.

Mr. Reynold’s leadership empowered the capable staff to provide exactly the learning environment that each of our family members needed when they needed it. He was a blessing to our family. We hope that the Diocese recognizes and rewards his steady, consistent, generous and inspired leadership. The legacy is already written.
