As a former student of Mr. Reynolds and a parent of a prospective freshman this decision is scary. I can truly say this weighs heavily on our decision to send our child to this new school, and not in a good way.

On the first day of school each year Mr. Reynolds teaches every student that they are loved at home, loved at school, and loved by God. His constant reminder of this message is what makes Holy Name such a special place that teaches kids catholic values and respect for all people. And he leads by example. He greets students And parents who are dropping their kids off each morning. He will pick up any piece of trash he sees on the floor in the hallway. He will say hi to anyone he sees. He attends our sports events and concerts. Mr. Reynolds has earned the respect of the students and faculty of Holy Name and it would be a mistake if he were not named principal.

Why wouldn’t you take the leader of your school that is performing better than the others and have him do more to help the combined school. Should have been the first choice a while ago. Mr Reynolds would continue to do a great job.
