As a junior at Holy Name during my time I’ve heard the name Michael Clark and said “who?”, only recently knowing who this guy is and in the past two months even knowing what he looks like. Which goes to show the amount of effort he puts into getting to know the students. This has to be the most antisocial person in the whole realm of staff at holy name or the catholic diocese. He has not shown any capability of bringing the schools together, rather he would tear them apart. This choice is extremely terrible. Mr. Reynolds will live in the hearts of the students forever and when I think of good education I think of Mr. Reynolds. He has a true passion for teaching children and he comes into Holy Name with a smile on his face every day.

This is my sixth year at Holy Name. In 7th grade I felt like the school was flourishing. When Mrs. Kennedy and Dr. Audette left, the school declined.
When the diocese becomes involved, usually more problems are created.
The diocese lacks professionalism. Every time that they have made an announcement, the students have been in school worrying over it. The teachers and staff do not receive the news properly. They leave us worrying. I felt it was so unfair to tell everyone the news right before Christmas. The students have questions and their teachers can’t answer them and neither can the administrators. I have amazing teachers and I can see the merger affecting all of them everyday. I know everyone would feel better if Mr. Reynolds was a part of the new school.
As headmaster and now principal, he makes sure to get to know all his students. In the past years, he has made sure that we learn lessons about life, and he is the leader for the entire school community. Ed Reynolds deserves the position to go forward with the merger. I could not imagine the school being successful without him. I hope that the diocese reconsiders and thinks about how having a leader who personally gets to know all of his students is.

Mr. Reynolds was one of the most influential people during my time at Holy Name. His dedication and passion for the school is like no other.

He’s the right person for the job... without him you are penalizing the students!!!! This merger is suppose to bring the schools together and increase enrollment but instead you may be driving students out!
