Its a disgrace and also dangerous so much frustrated drivers taking alternative routs on residential streets in nairn!

Missed or very late for appointments, huge frustration and very dangerous manoeuvres from drivers trying to turn back, minor roads used as a rat run. It is all very unpleasant.

Too many traffic lights and they are sequenced all wrong! Can take anywhere from 10- 45 mins some days to get through Nairn!

It is quicker to travel to Inverness to shop than go through Nairn to Sainsburys. Ridiculous. Someone DO SOMETHING !!!!!!!

Caught in the chaos the other week with a baby in my car. Also my quiet, narrow road became a rat run of speeding cars.

The main problem lights are at the lochloy/broad hill junction as it seems priority is given as soon as a car comes from either area. Then there is the 4 sets of traffic lights in quick succession from the community centre to parish church meaning traffic can never flow. Even before these traffic backed up with only the harbour street and lochloy set. At least 2 sets could be removed in Nairn. A further set at Cranloch does nothing to help unless traffic is already built up. I can understand at a school but part time and Cran lochs should be at Duncan Drive operational during school hours only. Perhaps the more traffic lights the easier a bypass?

Living near the country road now being used by very fast traffic and hgv's as the longer but quicker alternative to the a96 through nairn, PLEASE get this fixed urgently. Cut down the traffic lights and stop gas works until quieter time of the year. Surely this is not a difficult decision to make.

9 sets of lights on such a short stretch of road is ridiculous the sets at Tradespark, the Junction where Leopald Street exits onto the A96 opposite the fire station the set at Lochloy Road and the set at Boathpark/Grantown Road junction with A96 are vital the rest are unnecessary even the 2 pedestrian traffic lights as long as people have Islands to cross too that is all that is needed. A set should however be installed at the point where Manse Road and Waverley road meet the A96 it has for the last 40 years been very hard nigh on impossible to leave these roads to cross onto the opposite side.

Sort this please I live in nairn and it's quicker to get to Inverness from hear rather that getting from traidepark to sainsburies.

I live off the unofficial bypass which is overwhelmed with traffic, these days, both cars and lorries going too fast on a narrow country road. The road surface is crumbling before our eyes. Nairn worked fine even with 4 traffic lights (which were not all necessary), The four 'new' ones have got to go, NOW.. We cannot put up with this mess until the bypass which is realistically at least 5 years away.

No need for the additional traffic lights installed when Sainsbury was built. Take them down. Problem solved.

Switch all the lights off at peak times it's a cheap and safe solution .Join library and other car park together get rid of library lights .
