Take action over the traffic chaos currently taking place in Nairn

Nairn is fast becoming a polluted mess thanks to the slow moving trucks and cars passing through. Get this sorted Highland council .

Never known so much road disruption in such a small town The lights are always out of sync Come on sort it out

For God's sack look at a Nairn bypass before the town collapses.

The constant traffic hold ups in this town are risking the lives of many who try and go about their daily business thus loosing money hand over fist and needs to be dealt with quickly. It's not just these lights at fault as there are certain drivers who just love to block junctions and roundabouts off.

Nairn has a ridiculous number of traffic lights which are not linked to each other thus causing chaos. Get rid of them.

The traffic light sets at Seabank Road and Albert Street are far too close to each other and to the Leopold Street lights, and are not justified by the low volume of traffic they serve. The traffic jams they contribute to increase the pollution levels in Nairn.

At least two of the traffic light sets are completely unnecessary - Seabank Road and Albert Street. Not only are they too close to each other and to the Leopold Street lights, but the volume of traffic from those streets is very low, especially in comparison to that from Waverley Road, which connects to the B9090 from Cawdor. Those unnecessary lights were installed purely for the convenience of the owners of the most valuable houses in Nairn.

David has expressed the views held by myself and many others here in the Highlands, and his call to the Scottish Government must be heard and answered at once.

It is relentless; day in day out.

The whole fiasco has been over engineered creating more problems than solving them. Adopt the KISS principle. Keep it simple stupid.

As a young person I used to dream about living in Nairn - now sadly I feel like I am living the nightmare thanks to the road problems and the fact that I was stupid enough to buy a house in Boath Terrace

The sooner the better as the waiting times for traffic and the attempts to avoid the town Has an adverse impact the whole of the area

Forget the Dualling programme and build the Bypass NOW

1.Organise the setting of the traffic lights.Removal of the lights at end of Albert Street. 2.Work on gas main.Done at night,or increase the hours of work.Why done in school holidays,Highland ICouncil may not realise this is a seaside holiday town and rely on tourist for business. 3.BYPASS NOW!!

This is embarrassing for the towns tourist industry and should be sorted as local businesses will be affected. I live in Cawdor and the unofficial Nairn bypass that runs this way is getting busier with an abundance of lorries and coaches that the roads are not designed to take.

We need bypass asap cause i have been sitting in car for nearly 60mins and I think there going to more accidents.. There was two accidents the same day 40mins apart no hurt by what's it going to take before we get one does someone have to be killed before something done... Please please hurt with bypass
