Take action over the traffic chaos currently taking place in Nairn

Sort Nairn's traffic chaos. It's a disgrace

Unacceptable delays getting thru Nairn from west to east. 1555 arrived on west side, 163 before I got thru. Traffic lights are a joke - not prioritised for A96 at all

I’ve been visiting Nairn for over 20 years. The traffic this year is horrendous. 20 minutes to travel a mile from the edge of the town to the bus station. It’s having a major impact on travel times, and the reliability of public transport. It’s shocking to see the development happening on each side of the town when there are such severe infrastructure problems. It doesn’t seem possible to approve the release of any of these new builds for sale given the impact on the local roads.

Worst traffic holdup in Scotland.

Joke can take 35 minutes from Inverness side to centre of Nairn.

About time something is done about nairn

I've been a Nairnite all my life. Yes a mere 23 years is hardly any time on this green earth. But since I've been around all people have said is we need a bypass, the last 2 generations have always said that we have needed one and this great age old need has went unnoticed. Its a joke and nobody seems to be laughing except for the cyclists who are chuckling in there masses at rush hour who can beat cars getting to the other side of town. The traffic congestion is something unheard in the Highlands, youd expect to see a 2 mile long queue on the M60 on the way to Glasgow or something nay getting through Nairn. But as always Nairn always gets ignored and Inverness seems to get priority over everyone in the Highlands. Its about time the people were listened to. Its about time we had a bypass.

A bypass is so dearly needed. Nairn is the busiest and worst place to get through on the A96

Sick of having to wait in traffic jams to get through town due to lights. Doesn't make sense to have that many lights in one small town.

I pass threw nairn at least 2 times a day and it's a joke even when it's quite your at least 20 minute delay now more and more people are going the back way and that road is getting worse

Im part of a volunteer reacue service and some days it beggers belief how long whe have to take to get through nairn . The lights are the main issue. They dont help the traffic fliw at all. Why dose a we small town like nairn need 7 sets of lights for the traffice. Its over kill and alot of the side junctions dont need them.

Total chaos cause by the excessive amount of unsynchonised lights in our small town, making response times for our taxi business unpredictable due to the volume of traffic building up!!!!!
