Both the parents and especially the kids that take part in Touch love the atmosphere of the games. That is based in large part on the music.

is this due to noise complaints? if not, likely council has not paid the appropriate fees to APRA for music to be played and does not want to.

The kids absolutely love the music. It creates an excitement. I can’t imagine it would be offending anyone across 5 lanes of traffic to the residents.

Thousands of teenagers are now playin g touch down at Nolan’s reserve every Friday night. In a single move, Manly Warringah touch have down more for youths health (and even mental health) than the ineffective council could ever dream of achieving.
Allowing music and improving the environment even more will only lead to more registrations.
As a broader community, this should be a no brainer to support. Come on Northern Beaches Council, finally look to do the right thing for the community.
