I live nearby and love the Friday atmosphere at Manly Touch. Have never been disturbed by the music. Please reinstate it.

Undemocratic for council to entertain one whinger’s complaint. How about all the signatures on this petition bombard council with similar unreasonable complaints? Are they going to stop every ambient noise in the neighbourhood? Trumpet practice, singing in the shower, yelling on the football pitch, laughing kids at the skate park. I’m not complaining that I can hear the aqua aerobics teacher from Boy Charlton doing her thing every morning from 400 metres away, or the school swimming carnivals all February - it is unreasonable to complain of the noise when you live urban and near a public place.

The music makes the afternoon fun for the kids. Music is only played during breaks and directed away from houses.
