Let there be music at Manly Touch!

The kids love it and it adds to the fun. If we’re trying to celebrate and encourage kids to ‘be active’ don’t take things like a bit of music away.

This is absolutely a joke who makes these time waisting decisions. It’s all about the child being outside getting exercise and if by having music on helps them to enjoy the sport then so be it. Stop wasting time and energy and money on things that really don’t matter.

Sad that bringing so many families together for some healthy fun is not allowed , these kids are given an opportunity to listen to music across the genres for 3 mins at a time between games The goons that go up and down the streets are more intrusive and higher risk

How can you take away the enjoyment of children playing sport and healthy environment for the select few that oppose it. Nanny state at its best, stop bowing to the minority! Ridiculous decision

I am fully against banning music at Touch football on a Thursday and Friday eve. It’s very early and isn’t that loud considering it’s a very open space.

This is bad decision, use common sense and change it. Let the music play, let the kids be kids and have fun

The promotion of children playing sport and finding enjoyment through the use of music is so important for their development. Instead of draconian measures such as banning it completely, music should be allowed and community engagement sought to find the best practical solution to a compromise
