I have beleived for a long time that our country needs tougher animal laws. We dont just need the RSPCA we need animal police!

All animal abusers should be given same treatment they give to the poor animals and as for animal thieves, 10yrs in prison should be given.

An eye for an eye. Anyone who causes pain or suffering to any animal MUST be made to pay. Harsher laws can easily be introduced it just needs the govt to have the bottle to make this happen. Animals and or pets are NOT just property, they are part of the family. They put their trust in humans and we should not let them down. They are all defenseless creatures who have feelings too and in a civilized Soceity we should not tolerate cruelty - end of!!!!!

A smacked wrist and a fine isn't good enough these lowlifes need to be punished for what they have done .Enough is Enough .We have to be a voice for these poor dogs.A dog isn't a human right and the sooner people realise this the better.

Anyone who can abuse, steal or abandon an animal should be named and shamed then given a huge penalty fine and spend time in jail.

Something HAS to be done to stop the Animal Abuse and offenders getting harsher punishments would be a great start! Please pass this Law.

Punishments are nowhere near harsh enough, something really needs to change to help the animals. People are getting hurt, there needs to be a stronger deterant.

So many animals being stolen and used for fighting or selling on. It has to be stopped

I agree something needs to be done now. Can't stand animal cruelty, sick people out there, people stealing family pets, using dogs for breeding, bait and fighting it's wrong. I hope this petition works. Am for the animals out there. I care a lot about animals, I was brought up with dogs, I used to work with animals, had animals all my life and i will fight there corner for them. There your best friend and family. I love animals and my animals. Lets put a stop to all this. Tougher punishments and maximum sentences and ban them for life to never be aloud animals again the people that abuse animals to. Don't let them get away with it. I say name and shame them to. If they can abuse animals then they can do it to children to. And they should have someone working in the police team for dog theft to. I am defo signing. My hearts goes out to the families whose animals are stolen and my heart goes out to the dogs who are suffering abuse and have suffered abuse. Hate animal cruelty to.
