Harsher penalties need to be law otherwise the scumbags that steal the dogs are basically getting away with murder should be the same sentences as what humans get for stealing harming or muddying poor animals

The penalty needs to be harsh. Us dog owners are becoming afraid to walk our dogs in fear of being beaten and our dogs stolen. House break ins to steal the dog is increasing. These dogs are our family and the penalty should reflect this. Dog abusers don't stop there, abuse continues, they need harsh sentences.

We certainly need to have our laws changed to harsher punishment for dog theft & abuse. The punishment the courts so far are handing out are pathetic & not deterring these crimes. We could also do with some magistrates/judges who's got the guts to hand better punishment out, at the moment they are useless handing out such lenient punishment out!!!!

its now an everyday occurrence where animals are stolen or mistreated. If penalties were higher then people may think more carefully.
