It’s bad enough dodging cars driving through MCP neighborhood while walking my dog, so opening the Loop Road only makes it worse. Return the gates, keep them closed, and do not allow vehicular traffic on Loop Road!

Listen to the community COB! The opening of the loop road in Murphey Candler will have detrimental effects to the safety and beauty of Murphey Candler park.

I oppose allowing any motorized vehicles including cars, trucks, and motorcycles, inside Murphey Candler Park. This includes opening the "Loop Road" to any motorized vehicles, including cars, trucks, and motorcycles. Minimal access inside the park areas for maintenance vehicles only. All parking to be maintained outside of the wooded areas and trail system.

Ernst and Linley -- and probably the City Manager -- all need to go. Whatever their agenda it sure doesn't match that of the citizens.

I left feedback on this park years ago. No or minimal trees should be cut down and no paved parking near the playground.

Having lived in the neighborhood and children and grandchildren participating in ACYA, MCLL and Softball as well, It is very disheartening to see the greedy unsafe Unnecessary changes being made at the park. The loop has been and should remain a walking trail not an encouragement for bad behavior and serious injuries

That loop road was shut down in the late 70’’s due to crime and other unsavory activities. My parents wouldn’t let me go anywhere near it.

Let's leave the park a "car free" zone. There are precious few places we can walk without cars moving by within a few feet of the sidewalk.

Our family sees no upside to changing the Loop Road. Please protect the integrity and beauty of the park by shutting this down. Thank you!

Sidewalk okay, to make it friendly and accessible, like the Path Foundation trails. That is consistent with community desires. A road for cars: no way! Removing Greenspace: no way! This goes against the goal of protecting the canopy of Brookhaven.

Please do not allow cars to enter and park inside MCP along the loop road — it is dangerous to pedestrians including young children, is unsightly, and is not necessary As parking along the road exists. I did not realize a vote for the Park Bond was a vote to do this. Also, the common green/amphitheater along the loop road is an unnecessary use of funds that disrupts nature to duplicate existing resources (i.e. the corner park). Finally, please preserve trees that provide much needed shade and screening for the playground and surrounding neighborhood.
