Murder Free Maryland is a program designed to help stop the spread of violence by using the methods and teaching to children and young adults about music. Murder Free Maryland is guided by a clear understanding that violence is an issue across Maryland and changing for a better Maryland starts by targeting the children and young adults. Being a partner in the communities and giving the children and young adults an outlet are keys to success and that professional and creative ways of working are essential for overall effectiveness. It is important show the children and young adults how to learn new skills that they can use for their greater future. Now is the time to save Maryland's future and utilize these methods to work with communities and reduce the crime rates.

Music saved my life when I was growing up so I know this works. The city needs more outlets like this for the youth.
Too much violence in the streets lately. If this helps keep one kid away from the wrong path then it is worth it.
stop the killing now. we need better programs and more mentors for the babies.
Not a fan of the title though because even though it reads “Murder” Free Maryland, the main word is still murder. If you focus of murder whether it’s murder or murder-free, it still attracts murder, so therefore we will bring about more murders. Focus on what we want as appose to what we don’t want. With the title, based on the law of attraction, it will bring about more of the very thing that we don’t want which is murder.
It’s been empirically proven that kids who engage with music and the arts have better life outcomes than those who do not engage.

Great idea but really hate the name. Why put the word murder out in the universe like that? Bad vibes.
