Every single day, without fail, there are delays. HUGE delays. Just the other day, I went to take the 7 train home from work. I got on at Vernon- Jackson. There was zero warnings to what was about to happen. The first stop into the city from Vernon is Grand Central. This is one stop. This one stop, took literally... no exaggerating here... 2 hours. We were underground, and there is absolutely no service/ wifi or anything between this stop. There were not even any announcements for .... wait for it... an hour. We waited underground, with no indication of what was going on. This was horrible. And after an hour, the reasoning they gave was, "signal problems". Then we proceeded to be abused for yet another hour. This morning it took me 4 hours to get to work. I live off the D line. I take the D, then transfer to the 7. Believe it or not, google maps actually says it should take me 1hr 5min to get to work... I have not experienced a trip under an hour and a half... but whatever, back to this, mourning. It took 1 hr to get from 79st to 36st on the D... Again, "signal problems"... and, "this will be the last stop on this train" ... and a, "better get on that R train across the platform", announced by the conductor. So that's what we did. Rushed off one crowded train to another... and this local train going one local stop, takes about 20min... "due to an R with brake issues, all R trains running with delays" . Terrified of being stuck underground now. I leave the station. As many did. I am now at 25st in Brooklyn. My plan now is to walk to take a bus to Atlantic avenue , and from there, take a 4/5 to grand central, then take the 7. So, I walk to 5th avenue and 25st to take the B63. I wait about 2min before I decide to just walk along it's 5th ave route, and just hop on one when it rolls by, as the stops are only a few blocks apart. But, I never got on the B63. Thanks Liam for running. I have worked with you before. I was very upset with 8 years of OBAMA. I assisted you and Marty Golden during the Trump campaign. I hadn't volunteered in a campaign for over 30 years but felt something had to be done to stop Hillary. We were surprisingly successful. I plan on helping you in your council seat election and feel strongly as a bensonhurst resident that the VZ bridge toll is totally unjustified for some Brooklynites who are closer to Dongan Hills than upper Manhattan.

It's understandable that repairs to keep the bridge in shape costs money but is it really necessary for the hikes that we have been getting? I think wanting to know what the money is used for and if these hikes are indeed necessary is a good idea.

Lower or get rid of this toll
