I have relapsing remitting multiple sclerosis and I am usually in the hospital during summer months. The heat causes my Ms to act up.

Hoping you get enough signatures. I am severely effected by heat and cold and would love to see a petition like this for my home state of Michigan for electric in the summer for a/c and gas in the winter for heat.

I have ms. Heat can increase my chances of a flare. Last month my electric bill was 533.00 dollars. They told me to turn my thermostat up to 80 degrees from 75. This is just ridiculous.

It is horrible during summer in Arizona. We hybernate during summer because the heat takes the use of our legs away. Please help lower our electric bills so we can at least enjoy inside our home/apts.

We should be helping these people in Phoenix. How is Tucson already ahead of Phoenix on this?

Living in Gilbert Az has so many over 100 degree days. Help those like me living with MS to stay cool so we can function.

My sister and aunt both suffer from MS and not being able to turn on the air conditioning in the middle of the Arizona summer for fear of the electric bill; this could help so much for those suffering from this disease.

WOW! Do we ever need help keeping the heat tollerable!! If we can't keep our homes cooler, our medical costs rise so high, we have to decide do I keep the temperature where I can survive, get my medications ( none of which keeps our body temperature low), or eat. Who of you, APS/SRP, would want to make that decision every month April through November. For a condition we did NOT put upon ourselves, we should not be punished. Thank you for taking the time to consider this proposal and implementing it.

Don't judge, ask questions of someone with #Chronic or #DisablingIllness, especially those who look fine on the outside, and few want to hear reality of daily pain, unable to do household chores, courage to hold onto hope & Godly comfort, and isolation watching friends dwindle away,

I have MS, because of the extreme temps in the summer I keep my house at 77-79 in order to not deal with heat and fatigue. My husband is also on Disability because of multiple surgeries, including a quadruple bypass. My daughter is disabled also, she has Williams Syndrome. I have a one story, but our bills range from 280 to almost 500.00 dollars during summer. I can't make entire payment, so short pay monthly which means catch up into fall months like now. Then you shut off out electric in 80 degrees. Please a medical discount for people with MS, it would help tremendously to cut down on the financial birden.

Installed new AC last year, very expensive...I have no choice but to hibernate during the summer. The extreme heat is often over bearing on me physically and financially.
