I also have heat intolerance. I have to keep home at least 78 degrees. I use ice packs and cooling vest to keep cool not to use the air conditioning full time.

If there are other diseases which qualify for a discount, multiple sclerosis should be on the list. Heat makes symptoms much worse.

Have had MS for 3&+ years and it would be nice to have a lower bill especially in the summer months....

The heat drains me of energy and causes more fatigue. The A/C has to fun more and longer to help keeping me cool. MS is not easy to live with!

The heat drains what energy I do have, [summer]. I have to keep my house cold for MS related symptoms. It is very expensive for A/C in the summer.

It is not fun to have to watch life pass by because I need to stay indoors in the cool air! We get secluded which is further detrimental to our mental health! To lower the thermostat would be major help. Many MS patients are on disability and can't afford high rates.

Summer electricity bills in AZ are a tremendous burden added to the heat sensitivity that creates more a symptomatic MS presentation.

If it were not for the MS that I have I would not have to keep my house cooler during the summer. I have to constantly jump in a shower to make my self feel cooler since I can barely afford my increased electric bills in the summer.
