As an alumnus from Citrus Park, and someone who grew up in the area, I have several friends and family who had the pleasure of experiencing her classroom. I can also say that of the many weddings I have returned to the area for, Mrs. Boner was at almost all of them. That should speak wonders of someone's ability to teach and make an impact on her students' lives. She is a an amazing teacher even beyond the classroom and I am amazed to hear of the possibility of her being forced to retire early. This makes me feel embarrassed of our school systems and to say I am appalled by this would be an understatement.

Mrs. Boner was one of the best teachers I had! Even after I had her as my fifth grade teacher, I continued to see her around town and she was always so sweet and encouraging. This is outrageous!
