I'll be informing the one million members of LegacyNationUSA in Florida concerning this outrage. If Mrs. Boner loses her job before her retirement in May, please include us any planned actions or protest. www.legacynationusa.com

Mrs. Boner has been by far my favorite teacher as a child. I am currently 26 and will never forget the manners she taught me! Please let her stay!

Mrs. Boner is a legend at Citrus Park Elementary. It's so disrespectful that the county after so much she has done for this school and city could even consider this. I truly hope they reconsider.

I was a former student of Mrs. Boner’s fifth grade class in the 2007-08 school year. I don’t remember many of my elementary school teachers as I moved a lot throughout my elementary school years. Mrs. Boner was one of two teachers that I remember and still keep in touch with to this day. The job description of what a teacher should be is, not only teach the required curriculum, but also impact their students' lives, push them toward their goals both academically and individually, share valuable life lessons, and the list could go on. That is exactly what Mrs. Boner was for me. I dealt with family problems at home, bullying at school, a learning disability that made learning mathematics extremely challenging including other factors which made my self-esteem and confidence in myself suffer. I could have easily allowed all of my circumstances alter my learning. However, having Mrs. Boner as my teacher was what I really needed. A positive influence who accomplished the goal of the teaching profession. I always come back to Mrs. Boner whenever I need anything. Letting Mrs. Boner go would mean that Citrus Park is losing their best teacher. She deserves to finish her last year before retirement at the same school that she has been teaching at for the majority of her 30 year career. There’s a reason why Mrs. Boner has never left Citrus Park.

Mrs. Boner is hands down the best teacher I've had. From Elementary school thru 2 college degrees. What's currently happening is ludicrous. Something needs to change.

Mrs. Bonner deserves to keep her job. She was my 5th grade teacher and was amazing! My friends and I still talk about how great she was back then and remains so now. We love Mrs. Bonner! Please let her finish the school year and retire as planned. Thank you! Elizabeth Allen

Her teacher's union should be looking into this issue.....I am assuming she has a contract that should be honored.....

This lady was teaching there when I drove a bus. She is a wonderful, well liked person. She is a great teacher. All of her students loved her. Shame on the person who wants to get rid of her. They ought to loose their job.

Sounds to me like the principal needs to be investigated!! If I was her I would be hiring a lawyer and sue the hell out of the principal and the school district!!

When you see this kind of reaction from the community it should make someone from the top take notice. Not okay.
