I had Mrs. Boner for 5th grade 15 years ago. She was such an intelligent, fun teacher!! I'm shocked to see she is still teaching let alone dealing with this. Praying for the best!

I became a teacher because of Mrs. Boner. Knowing how much I disliked school as a child, that should be more than enough evidence of the impact that this wonderful educator has on the students who are lucky enough to be hers.
We love you, Mrs. Boner!

How can this principle be so hateful that he can't wait until the end of the school year for a valued teacher of 30+ years to retire. He has to try to make someones life miserable? It almost boggles the mind.

I can't believe this is happening to Mrs. Boner. After 30 years of excellent service and teaching countless students she deserves to be able to retire with dignity and honor's. Let's band together and see that justice is served. Let her retire at her own will. Let her retire with wonderful memories and stories of all the children that she helped mold for the future.

Mrs. Boner was my son's favorite teacher. She truly cares about the students and makes sure they learn. She is one of few teachers who actually teaches manners and respect.

I pray I am not too late. And if I am, then my deepest apologies. I did not realize the time-sensitive nature of this petition. Mrs. Boner has been more than just my 5th grade teacher. She has been a friend, mentor, and active presence in our community. She taught me so much and has had a lasting impression on my life. She prepared me for both the domestic and corporate world.
The only stitching I know I can do well is cross-stitching which she taught us for one of our activities. I still have the cross-stitch sample I made of my initials. Another significant accomplishment made underneath her care was being the representative for Citrus Park Elementary in the 4HClub Tropicana Speech Contest. I come from a family of educators and orators. Yet, I never felt my voice was as powerful as theirs. My older sister won the Tropicana Speech Contest. I, however, did not. That was okay because I went on to be a storyteller and had many lead speaking roles throughout my adolescence. Now, I give scientific presentations on my work or other works in my field. I am currently preparing my dissertation defense. Along the way I have learned more tips on how to be a great presenter. However, I would not have been able to step outside my shell with confidence if it had not been for her honesty and push to strive for greatness.
In my field, I have to attend many conferences and banquets. Mrs. Boner taught us manners and proper eating for large events. Because of that, I never had to be embarrassed or unsure how to behave at a banquet. My mother taught me how to sit and be quiet so that you can listen to others. Mrs. Boner taught me what I am supposed to be doing with my hands and body language as I am doing so. She gave us a sense of accomplishment and growth that I have been able to carry into my adult life and career.
I truly believe you will be doing a disservice to the children, Mrs. Boner, and the establishment of teaching. To remove a teacher that has given so much is heartless

Pat....She is the best teacher I've ever had, hands down. She taught practical life skills that I remember to this day, in addition to her subject area. Things are getting so ridiculous these days in schools. This is why teachers get so disgusted and leave the profession and continually face a shortage. Theres such a lack of respect for commitment, loyalty, and nonconformity (to put it nicely). It's funny how people who are not even in the classroom seem to know what's best for the kids in the classroom. Most of these people haven't been in the classroom for years and forget about the challenges that students and teachers face and want everything to fit in a box or to a rubric. Many kids learn best from those who make things applicable to life and just listen to them, and are sometimes unconventional, not just the teacher who teaches them to take a test and is all business. Whatever happens, she'll always be THE best and most memorable teacher I (and my 2 siblings) have ever had.

Absolutely absurd for a principal to have the power and opportunity to squeeze someone as devoted as Mrs. Boner out of the career she loves and has been so devoted to.

you don't let someone go right before retirement. I never had her as a teacher, but that just isn't right. If she was a poor teacher, you should have done something much, much earlier.
