I dont know if words can truly express how much having Mrs. Boner as my 5th grade meant to me. She was an amazing teacher, who was the first person to challenge me academically. She played a major role in developing my desire to learn and the work ethic I carry with me today. To lose Mrs. Boner at Citrus Park, would mean losing the heart and soul of that school.

If it wasn't for Mrs.Boner, I'd probably be selling drugs. She helped bring light into my life and in doing so, I turned my life around and became a damn good Airman in the United States Air Force. Please reconsider this move, your ratings scale is broken and needs to be rewritten.

Mrs. Boner is the only teacher my wife has ever mentioned -- all positive. It's just bad business, unethical and truely questionable decision making on the education department side. I can't say I'm surprised at yet another terrible decision by a Florida school.

This is disgraceful and should be an outrage to the community at large. The community should address the school board as well. I am sure that the superintendent does not want this kind of press or the type of leadership or lack thereof being shown by this principal.

I can only second Roberta's comment. This story is getting about, and should worry all who value employment security, especially when the individual's record is exemplary.

Have heard nothing but praise by all those she taught. Keep her.

Seniority and experience should count! Teaching for tests cheats students. Some times you have to teach outside the box/book because not every student learns in the same way. Due to her experience Mrs. Boner is more than capable of adapting her teaching style to fit students individual needs. Let her finish her final year of teaching at the school that has been her home for almost 30 years.

The story of this shameful decision has crossed the ocean and reached people who care for fair treatment of employees. Someone who devoted her life to this school deserves to be treated with respect. Shame on you, principal.

It is unconscionable to let go a veteran teacher who has given so much to a school for so many years. The school should absolutely heed the will of the parents and reinstate Mrs. Boner! It is a black mark on the school, the county and of course the principal to return 30 years of service with this sort of treatment.

This woman is the best!!! My mother in law told me often, and then I found out for myself. What is happening is very unfair. I think a lawyer should be involved cause I bet this has something to do with age discrimination!!!!
