I certainly hope that in light of how nearly everyone feels about Mr. Nico, that this decision will be re-evaluated. From my understanding, it seems very draconian. Mr. Nico is beloved by not only his students, but by their families. It's hard to find someone so trustworthy with the children, and I am incrediblly disappointed to hear of this news. Nicolas "Mr. Nico" was, and is, loved by the students, faculty and parents at Bright Generations. His energetic approach towards instruction and learning, coupled with his genuine concern about their personal development, is immeasurable. The bottom line is, finding and keeping good, trustworthy talent should be the number one instructional priority of the center. So let's do the right thing, and bring him back.

To echo all the other comments on here, we feel Nico's departure will create a void that will not be able to be filled by anyone. His passion for teaching, his enthusiasm, and his overall upbeat attitude will be sorely missed by all, especially the children. Our son has thrived since moving into the pre-k classroom due to the fabulous teachers, of which Nico was a huge part. The dynamics just won't be the same without him.

Mr. Nico has been one of the best teachers/camp leaders that both of my children have ever had. I was very sad to learn of his departure and think is extremely unfair. He loves all the kids and knows how to provide a balance between teaching, fun, and discipline. The school, and especially summer camp, will not be the same without him. We need vibrant, fun teachers like him that can relate to the kids and get on their level, all while earning and maintaining their love and respect.

I'm so upset about Mr. Nico's dismissal. There has to be a way to review or reverse the decision. Mr. Nico is one of the best things about Bright Generations and can't imagine not having his positive energy in the halls and classrooms everyday. Please bring him back!

Along with all the other parents, I was shocked and very saddened to hear the news about Mr. Nico. There is just something so comforting and special when I would pick up our son and find Mr. Nico playing his heart out with all the kids in the outside area. Last night, Max wanted to know why Mr. Nico left and I didn't even know how to explain it. He came up with the idea that he has gone to Kindergarten with the other kids that had left. I probably should have corrected him, but did not have the heart to say it...

Mr. Nico has had a very positive influence on my son Nate this past year, and from other parents’ comments, the same can be said about their kids experiences with him. I have only heard positive and glowing comments about Mr. Nico’s teaching style. All the kids love him and the parents do too. Bring him back and Bright Generations benefits from his positive and caring teaching style. Stand by your current decision and we will all suffer!!

Mr. Nico has been an influential part of my son's life. He's provided guidance to both me and Kai on preparation for Kindergarten. My son looks up to Mr. Nico as a strong male role model and I can't express my gratitude for his support. I'm deeply sadden that he is no longer there. I would happily provide him with a letter of recommendation. I'm very dissappointed that he will not be there for when/if Kai returns to Bright Generations for Summer Camp and Spring Break.

Of all of the teachers in my daughter's life, Mr. Nico has by far had the most profound influence on her. His talent, warmth, and unique ability to teach and reach his students is awesome. Teachers have come and go from our lives, but my daughter (and her father and I) have never felt such sadness as we did with the news of his departure. The decision to let him go needs to be reconsidered; we need him back teaching our kids, where he belongs.

Mr. Nico is an amazing teacher and role model for all the children. He brought a positive attitude to the classroom and made learning fun and exciting. He went above and beyond the lesson plan and spent time with the children to get to know them and help them become independent boys and girls. Please reconsider your decision and bring Mr. Nico back to the classroom where he belongs. Mr. Nico’s influence on our children’s lives is rare and invaluable.

Mr. Nico is an invaluable asset to Bright Horizons and his dismissal must be reconsidered. It is rare to find someone who so easily connects and influences children in such a positive light as he does. Mr. Nico exemplified what an early childhood educator should be and provide balance to the classroom for the Tupelo environment. Bringing Mr. Nico back is the righ decision for the center and the kids.

I am saddened that Mr. Nico is no longer with Bright Generations as he is absolutely irreplaceable. His teaching style balances compassion, discipline and fun. His enthusiasm and dedication to inspiring the children to be their best is what a parent hopes for in a teacher. My children (and others) genuinely love and respect him and blossomed under his guidance. In losing Mr. Nico, Bright Generations has lost some of the magic that made the school such a special place for our children to begin their learning experience.

Nico is more than an asset to the company, he is family. To the children he is more than just a teacher. Nico is a fun loving individual who will do anything to make sure that the children are safe and in a comfortable environment. He is patient, kind and beyond caring and he has really changed the lives of not only the children but also the parents and staff that has come into contact with him. Having him discharged from the center is not only hurting the children, it is also causing the center as a whole to suffer. A man that has this kind of impact on a community is not a man that should have been let go. Please open your hearts and re-evaluate this decision before you let a good employee walk away.

I don't even know where to begin right now. I'm so disheartened and upset. My whole day was a mess upon hearing this news. The only words I can mutter right now is that I am truly upset about Kim letting Mr Nico go..! They will truly regret this decision. Mr Nico is the best if not the only best teacher in the center now. You (Kim + Bright Generations management) didn't just take away the best teacher at the most crucial time in our children's lives but also created a deep void in the hearts of the kids. What is this foolery? We need him back!

Words don't begin to express how much Mr. Nico meant to my son. He is an encouraging, compassionate, and dedicated teacher. In a school which is predominantly taught by all females, Mr. Nico made a difference in the lives of so many children by serving as a strong male role model. Each student was shown specialized attention and care by him. His love of life and love of the children was evident in all that he did. This school is much, much worse off without him. Please, please reconsider your decision.
