Nico is one of the main reasons I was so excited for Riley to join the Tupelo classroom. He seems genuinely happy and excited to be a teacher, and the kids love him. He always seems very engaged with the kids, even at the end of a long day. Although I do not know exactly what incident led to his dismissal, unless it was something way over the top he needs to be given another chance. Everyone makes mistakes and firing someone is not always the best solution.

What a shame…Mr. Nico had such a positive impact on our kids while they attended Bright Generations. It saddens me that management thinks it is protecting our kids by letting him go. Kim, Bobbi and Lynn, seeing how the parents that entrust their kids to Nico, do you think the right decision was made? Do the right thing and bring back a great teacher, role model and man!!

There are good teachers and then there are *exceptional* teachers. Mr. Nico Delaney is/was the latter – the undisputed star of Bright Generations GA Power. The genuine care and attention he consistently displayed with the kids was unparalleled. The leaps of growth our kids have both experienced in Mr. Nico’s direct care – astounding! His firing has caused us all to literally cry, at work and at home. .

My family has been a part of this Bright Generations center from the first day it opened. We have watched it grow into an awesome center. Mr. Nico was an important part of both of my younger sons lives. He genuinely loved the kids and encouraged them daily to work hard and do their best. We were glad that our sons had another strong positive male role model in an environment mainly dominated by females. This wasn't just a daycare, it was an extention of our family. We feel this way because of teachers there who love our children as their own. I understand that there was an incident that brought this on and I agree that steps should be taken to prevent this in the future. But I believe that without Mr. Nico this center will decline from the wonderful place we once knew it to be.

I am saddened by the decision. I was anxious for my younger daughter to possibly have Mr. Nico as a teacher. My daughter still talks about him. I believe letting him go was a mistake andfuture generations will suffer as a result. He really cared about the children. Please bring him back ! ! !

I am upset by the news. Logan would talk about Mr. Nico all the time. I had a chance to meet the teacher that had a great impact on my grandson. Logan is very upset about him no longer being there. Great teachers are hard to find but it is even harder to find a great male teacher. My grandson has learned so much from Mr. Nico. My daughter speaks very highly of him and was excited that he was going to be in his class.

My daughter, Elise, is a Bright Generations alumni. I really the dismissal of one of the best teachers the center has ever had will negatively impact the students and the pre-K program.
I participated on every field trip and every class activity that was held and I got to see Mr. Nico interact with the children. Somehow he manages to discipline them, get them on their best behavior with the best manners and they still love him.
He was *always* 100% engaged and attentive to his students.
It is so much more than the kids just love him because he is fun. And he is fun. He is the one who plays with them outside and the one you will find playing Uno with them at the end of the day.
But he is also a great educator and great role model for the children. Not a day would go by when Elise would tell me: “Mr. Nico taught me….” or “Mr. Nico showed me….”
It seems to me that it is rare to find a pre-school teacher who genuinely cares about the children and takes their job as an educator seriously.
The Pre-K program that Ms. Heloise and Mr. Nico and Ms. Stephanie have put together is top notch and I’d hate for other children to be denied that.
Elise’s reading, writing and math skills grew exponentially in that year. Her articulation and vocabulary had people thinking she was at least in first grade!
I would send my mom the “What in the Worlds” and she and her co-workers would jokingly refer to Bright Generations as M.I.T!
Please Please Please allow this team to continue working together. Knowing Mr. Nico, I firmly believe he would not allow something like this to happen ever again and I wish he could be given another opportunity.
Bright Generations cannot afford to lose him.

Nico Delaney has been one of the most positive influences on my children over the last four years they have attended Bright Generations. I am very upset about his termination, and the center will not be the same without him. Please bring Mr. Nico back!

My son has grown so much in his pre k classroom. He had a very special bond with Mr. Nico. I am very upset with him leaving and the classroom will not be the same without him.

We (my family) have had kids at the center since its inception. The only reason we chose for our son to attend the pre-K class at Bright Generations (he was indeed admitted to a state-sponsored program) was Mr. Nico. Mr. Nico was my daughter’s favorite teacher 2 years ago. You’ve pulled our hearts out with the decision to push him out. Please, bring OUR star teacher back!

Mr. Nico is the BEST! Gavin enjoyed Pre-K and Summer Camp because of Mr. Nico. He is very engaging with the kids and Gavin thought of him as his 'best-friend'. Mr. Nico even came to Gavin's basketball game and Gavin was so happy!!! Please bring him back!!! He makes a difference in the lives of our children and we need more teachers like him.

Of all the teachers that have been in our kids' lives, none have had as much impact as Mr. Nico. He is kind, talented, patient, warm, smart and funny. He has a gift with the children that cannot be replaced. The decision to let him go should carefully have considered all aspects of his impact in the classroom. Please bring back our Mr. Nico.
