I always felt my daughter was safe and I know that Mr. Allen would take a bullet before he would let anyone harm our girls.

Mr Allen has been a crucial part of our duchesne tradition. During the 2018's time in 7th grade we all raised money for his surgery when he got sick to keep him here at duchesne and didn't believe that one day he'd be transferred. That wasn't our dream for our work to have him transferred after trying to help him get better.

I'm not at Duchesne anymore but everytime I come visit mr Allen remembers who I am and never fails to make me, and everyone else smile. I'm honestly so shocked to hear he was let go.

Mr. Allen is always so kind and welcoming. Duchesne wouldn't be the same without him...honestly.

I can't believe that they had the gall to let go of Mr. Allan. He's been such an integral part of everyone's Duchesne experience.

When I met Mr. Allen on that campus he was the first person to welcome us there. He knew every name of every one I those girls that passed by him. Some of them he spoke to with a simple hello, the others he was ordering to go where he knew they should be at the time. The respect they had for him was amazing. I could tell right away he CARED about each of them! I have to say it will be tragic not to see him on that campus every morning!

Wish I knew more about the circumstances, but that many years of service should speak for itself.

Duchesne does not deserve Mr. Allen. What a shame to desert someone who was so incredibly kind, loving, and devoted to Duchesne. He protected every single person on campus and brightened everyone's day. I felt very secure with him at the front gate- he knew every single member of my family (from aunts to uncles) even if they only came to pick me up once. I would trust my children to be safe with him there. He was hilarious, too; I remember him chasing our male visitors around the school to make sure that they were always on their best manners. It is obvious that in the few years I have been gone that Duchesne has changed a lot. It has lost the spirit that made it so great. I will not consider ever recommending Duchesne as a place to get an education and I will not ever send my kids there. What a disgrace.
