Although I am only a visitor there, picking up my niece, he always greeted me with a smile.

I have known Allen since I was 4 years old (now 25). He is a legend. He knows everyone's name, who their parents are, and what car everyone drives. He even remembered me when I visited 8 years after graduating. He kept us safe and happy. Duchesne would not be the same without him.

It is a shame that Mr. Allen was "reassigned." He is not the only one. After over 30 years of service, Mrs. Gleaves was let go in a similar way. It's an embarrassment .

Unbelievable! How Mr. Alan was treated when we are asked everyday to follow in Christ's shoes. His service to our school community and safety of our girls for 28 years speaks volumes. How could this happen???
Shameful!

I have not received the facts about this termination of Mr. Allen. But I support him and think that such a long time employee and supporter of the school should be afforded every opportunity to hear the complaint made against him, provide his explanation, and have all evidence related to his employment (and history of his work at the school) considered before a decision about his employment is made. I love Mr. Allan and anyone who would even have the thought of firing him should not have a part at Duchesne Academy at all. If anyone should be gone it's whoever has started all of this.
