It's honestly disgusting how money overcomes loyalty. Mr. Allen has been a loyal servant to the community for 30+ years. Just goes to show how much Duchesne values loyalty. Disgusting

I always loved seeing Mr. Allen on campus, even after graduating and returning to visit. He was a special part of Duchesne, and I am deeply upset by his forced departure.

I am saddened and very disappointed by this news. How do you let Mr. Allen go without any explanation after all his years of service?! He is one of a kind! Please bring back this valued and beloved member of the Duchesne family.

I was shocked to hear of Mr. Allen's "reassignment". Sounds like code for a course of action that was neither fair nor popular, but that someone wants to silently fade away. Perhaps the administration can shed some light on this emotionally charged issue before rumor and innuendo run amok. It seems that the reputation of a man who has dedicated so many years of service to Duchesne deserves at least that much.

First I hear of odd changes in teacher staff, then I see that weird "Girls in Formation" slogan every time I go down Chimney Rock, now this? Does Mr. Allen's sincere care come close to being matched? He berated me the morning I showed up with my newly fender-bendered car and damn I felt loved and properly abashed. Maybe I'm in the dark about a critical piece of the narrative, but unless someone enlightens me, I'm Team Mr. Allen 4 Life.

The school needs to give an explanation for such an immediate and seemingly brash decision.

When I first interviewed for Duchesne, Mr Allen was the first person I met. Immediately, I knew this was my school. After meeting Mr. Allen, I knew it was home. I wonder how I can keep going back to school with the knowledge that Mr. Allen will not be there to welcome me at the beginning of the day. Seeing Mr. Allen in the mornings and throughout the school is what reminded me of the amazing place Duchesne is and how far kindness can change the days of so many people. Mr Allen has touched the lives of so many people. This is not the happy ending he deserves. Bring Mr Allen back home!

I attended DASH from pre-k to middle school and my fondest memories of my time there were of Mr. Allen. It breaks my heart to have learned about this. This kind man was the heart of that institution.

Mr. Allen is part of what makes Duchesne special. He is the embodiment of the kind, nurturing personal touch that we appreciate about this school. It is hard for me to imagine how replacing him with a revolving door-like series of contract workers makes any sense.

As a proud member and president of the Parents Association, I am truly astounded! Mr. Allen is a fabulous person that's always there to help. In my years of working on Extravganza, Mr. Allen was always there to help no matter what was needed. He has a bright shining smile that welcomed all the girls by name which made them more confident on their first week of school. After a hard day at school, Mr. Allen was always there to bring a bright smile.

I understand that the decision to transfer Mr Allen was not made by Duchesne; however, I believe that students and parents have a right to the truth as to the circumstances of this decision. This isn't us calling for a reckoning; this is us calling for answers.

Mr Allen is a great man. Even though I am no longer there he still remembers me every time I come to pick up my sister. They need to bring him back!

School can not let this loving Gentelman go without reason. This is not so Catolic way.
