News like this is shocking as Mr. Allen has always embodied the Sacred Heart life. He was the most positive and loving person, and much of my 10 years at Duchesne started with Allen greeting me in the morning. He was always kind, while at the same time extremely professional knowing how to keep us safe. Please reconsider this decision. This is a big loss to Duchesne, and an extremely sad and disrespectful way of thanking him for his years of service and dedication.

We love Mr. Allen! I left Duchesne after 8th grade back in 2003, but to this day I remember Mr. Allen helping my sisters and I navigate the carpool line every day, always with a smile and a kind word... What a figure. I'm sad to hear about this, and I hope Duchesne makes it right.

Dear Duchesne, I have always supported you as you did me when I was a student there. Please help me understand how the decision to reassign Mr. Allen was in the best interest of the school and those of us who love it and who think so highly of the lovely gentleman who protected it for 28 years. Thank you.

We woold like him back. His knowledge of the campus and his many years at Duchesne are very valuable to the safety of the students and staff.

Its clear from the comments on this petition how truly special Mr Alan is to the Duchesne community. He loved us like family, and he knew every single student by name! I am so saddened and outraged that Duchesne is neglecting its commitment to goal 4, building community as a Christian value. Im deeply disappointed in the school I once loved so much. I hope Mr Alan gets to come home soon!

I have never felt ashamed of my association with Duchesne until this evening. 13 years of my life were wonderfully spent with Mr. Allen protecting the DASH community and offering the most genuine compassion to all he encountered. So deeply dissapointed

Those out of touch with Mr. Allen' broad understanding of students, faculty and parents and the significant pressure he accepts on himself for their/our safety would make a move such as this. Evaluate his relationships and professionislm and bring him back to DASH.

I was shocked to hear that Mr. alan has been reassigned. There is not an employee at Duchesne who has touched people's lives like Mr. Alan. He knows every family at that school and he has always gone above and beyond. I hope the administrations will do whatever is necessary to get him back.

I've been at this school since pre-k, and I still have the greatest memories of Mr. Allen from 11 years ago! He has such a kind soul and one complaint shouldn't ruin his job! He knows everyone's names and even many people birthdays! He has put much dedication into protecting our school and making sure to be polite and know each and everyperson and great them with a smile on his face! Everyone who talks to Mr. Allen always has a smile because he brightens everyone's day! We love him and we hope and pray he comes back!

Mr. Allen really was the heart and soul of the Duchesne community. The school is growing and changing, which I had hoped would only expand the amount of lives it would change, but losing Mr. Allen is an inexcusable blow to our community. As an alumni of the school, I'm really devastated to see what the community that shaped me is becoming that we can turn our backs on the most loyal, kind, and generous employee.

As a former Duchesne mother to a lifer, I am appalled at the way such a pristine institution can let go of one it's oldest and most valued employees. I hope you all reconsider your unjust decision and consider apologizing and offering his job back especially during the holiday season.

There is nothing that Mr.Allen could have done to erase 28 years of loyal service to the school. To terminate him in this manner is a disgrace, and this is not the brand of "Sacred Heart" I want my daughter to know.
