It's right to stop university when there's such a great crisis

More so than previous years there are alot of factors which are affecting our ability to revise and go over the content. To have exams in this period would not be a fair representation for our knowledge and skills.

I believe the current situation regarding Coronavirus is unchartered territory for everyone. These are exceptional circumstances which is putting undue pressure on students and as the government has cancelled national exams , the university needs to follow their lead . Thank you for your time

If UoB has cancelled exams considering the circumstances then so should Aston.

It's just not fair on all of us! Some of us are stuck at home taking care of schoolkids and you still expecting all of us to sit exams. LIKE HOW ARE WE SUPPOSED TO. At the moment I am looking after some of my nieces and nefhews and my siblings while my parents, cousins, aunts, uncles are helping defeat the corona. I don't get any time for myself because everybody keep making me look after their kids even thought I don't want to. For me it is a challenging, difficult and stressful time and I'm sure other students are going through the same difficulties during this difficult times. Thank you for taking times to read

I dont feel prepared for exams as staff strike also affected us and i found settling in uni very hard so therefore i think it will be in our best interest if uni does the exam next year rather than this year.

I rather star off with a harder 3rd of pharmacy rather than a unfair assessment of 2nd year pharmacy

Get rid of all exams this year! I don't mind doing double the amount of exams next year but just not this year

Please cancel exams for this year. I understand that other arrangements might have been put in place but so did the other universities who have now cancelled. So please consider cancelling them aswell x

Yes if other pharmacy and medical schools are cancelling exams then why can't Aston. I demand an answer

Please cancel all exams for the Aston pharmacy students especially for those in years 1 to 3. My other daughter who's at Leicester medical school has been fast tracked ahead to the next year. If medical schools are doing it then why can't pharmacy schools. Please do not use the gphc excuse!

Stop 1st year exams

Let these kids progress forward without having to do any form of assessments this year. It really isn't fair when other universities, college's and school's have cancelled examinations but Aston are still forcing their poor students to sit these examinations. I understand that staff are doing the best they can to help these kids but a lot of them are still very young so stop forcing them to do these examinations this year and please think about their mental health during this difficult time. EXAMS should be cancelled

My husband Eppie and I believe these children taking exams across the country should be treated fairly. It can't be the case that some universities cancel exams and those students can focus on getting themselves and their families through this devastating time whilst others suffer. We have to all make compromises and exams should not be a priority in these unprecedented times. Good Luck dearies!
