Important work, keep it up and cast a wider net to include more classmates in the discussions. Go Navy.

I agree that these concerns are very real and the steps these members of the class of ’80 put out there are very appropriate.
What is apparent now is all of the racist, sexist things that we took for granted. I expect my experiences were similar to many other of my white male classmates and I also believe I could have done more. I regret this now. I have always been somewhat uncomfortable with Omnes Viri. It should be very significant that some class of ’80 folks remember it - personally, I could not tell you one other classes’ slogan. I am not sure one could get a consensus with all of my classmates on it but it could be a great opportunity to show we understand where the future of our Navy and nation lie. It would be nice for Navy to lead the service academies on this.

Janie and Class of 1980 group members who met to develop and promulgate the "Moving Forward Statement & Petition". I fully endorse and support your thoughts and recommendations for action.
Bravo Zulu and job well done to Janie and Group for undertaking a difficult topic that must be discussed and addressed with concrete actions!
