Thousands of fans will be left disappointed as Katie Taylor's homecoming fight looks set to take place in Dublin's 3Arena with a capacity of 9,000 - 11,000. While Croke Park may not be an option.. a capacity of 11,000 is NOT enough for this historic Katie Taylor fight.
Katie Taylor and the Irish fans are being robbed of one of the most iconic sporting moments of our time. Katie Taylor and the Irish public deserve more. For context, the historic fight between Katie Taylor vs Amanda Serrano in Madison Square Garden last year - sold out in front of 20,000 people in New York. There are so many alternatives if Croke Park isn't an option.

Seriously? 9000 capacity for Katie Taylor? Are they mad?
Would love to go but will never get a ticket for that tiny venue. Sort it out.
Keep her at home but do it right. Everyone wants to see her fight on home soil. Dont waste such a big moment.
The 3Arena is way too small for her. Honestly it's embarrassing that we can't get a proper venue for our own world champion.
Get her in a stadium!! She deserves way better than a tiny arena. Croke park or nothing.
