I think the surry county school schedule is all kinds of messed up. It's not simple, it's complicated. It does not make sense. I think y'all need to make graduation on the 10th because people have already payed for their house and trips and they will loose money if you don't.

Graduation should not be hanged this late into the year. Parents and students have already made plans for vacations and other activities based on the June 10th date.

The whole schedule for the Surry County school year needs to be fixed. Having exams for fall classes after Christmas break does not make any since whatsoever. Especially since this factor effects the graduation date. The school year needs to start earlier, like something similar to Carroll County's school calendar. Even college is set up to where students take exams for fall classes before Christmas break. That's just common sense.

This is absolutely absurd. There is no reason for us to attend school this long when we have NOT missed enough days in order to extend school that far out. This is completely unfair and unnecessary. Fix it.

If this had occurred my senior year I don't know what I would have done. Take the seniors, their families, and their time and money into consideration here and move graduation back. A June 17th graduation is absurd.

Graduation has always been on the 10th, and to move it making some seniors miss one of the best days of their lives is pretty low! Move it back!
