I start college classes on the 26th of June at Western Carolina University. This only gives me 9 days to transition from high school student to college student.

Countless #s of families already had Vacation plans established around the original date. By changing the date you are forcing Seniors as well as their family members to make a decision between Graduation and Family Vacation or other events such as Weddings.

When I graduated from North Surry I moved into college on June 15! Some of the awesome kids who are going on to become better athletes may have to do the same thing! Don't cause them to miss such and important event!!

Kinda dumb to move it to June 17th if I had a choice I wouldn't even go to graduation, I wouldn't wanna mis senior week! So move it back

Have a meeting for just Seniors and see how many are in favor of going those few Saturdays to get them graduated on the 10th. 5-7 Saturdays wouldn't hurt and I'm sure 4 or 5 coach/teachers would volunteer that time. Let regular school end as scheduled. Some parents have already booked on refundable vacations!

This is crazy to change a date that was already set, especially since it is Graduation day. These kids have worked hard to make it to this milestone in their lives and all deserve to be able to be in attendance.

I'm not sure when spring break became untouchable, I'm sure that the families that have "plans" for spring break can keep their children out of school and the employees can use some of their days. In years past, spring break was used or snow days were forgiven. Graduation on the 17th is absurd, vacation plans have been made for many as well as non-refundable deposits sent in. Several students will be moving into college by the end of June for summer session. I feel that there needs to be a review of this immediately and correct a decision that adversely affects so many.

We have planned on June 10th for a year. The school should have planned better. No other schools have this problem

Some students move into college June 26th.. so I think they deserve to keep their money on those beach houses, as well as have a little bit of a summer with their friends and family

We could honestly add 10 minutes to every school day.
