I believe that switching to online-based for the time being is the safe alternative to regular classes, as a result of the coronavirus. The virus is especially impactful on older members of our community so their protection must be guaranteed.

This is a critical period for “social distancing” if we want to “flatten the curve” and not overwhelm our healthcare system. If the issue is the challenge of setting up remote instruction, please be frank about that and take the time needed.

I am a Fontbonne alum and my daughter is a current student. This is completely irresponsible. This thought process is exactly what creates community spread. It's not worth taking the chance. And let's be real, online classes are the way of the future.
