I do not want to see any type of shelter next to a preschool or next to an elementary school. I understand people need help, but our children's safety should be our first concern.

I strongly agree. You never know who may walk thru the doors. If they dont have an I'd than how can anybody tell who they really are and what standing status is for them rite now.

So glad you guys are doing this! But don’t let your heart cloud your judgement. There HAS to be another option. What about one of the many large empty buildings that are scattered about town. Like the old Office Max building near Washington.

In the past.. None of these shelters have been successful without the neighbors complaints, sanitary issues, safety concerns. Obviously love overwhelming couldn’t keep it under control several times Before... WHY allow them to try again within FEET OF SCHOOLS?!?! Find a smarter and safer location! Do not put the kids at risk to be exposed to this.

We need proper safety zones by the school... just like you can’t be dealing drugs within so many feet of A school without getting extra charges... but you’ll house a bunch of criminals and drug users and allow them to leave their trash within FEET OF A PRESCHOOL?!?!?! (Not saying all of them staying will be a criminal or Drug user... but historically they have been and they’ve left giant messes) why would having this next to a school even be considered?!?!

Those who find themselves homeless, in need of assistance, or on the fringes of society are no less valuable than we who are fortunate. They are our community. Let's help them any way we can!

The homeless need to be safe and warm when the weather gets bad outside . It makes the ER at the hospital and drs offices busy from people getting sick from.being out In the cold wet weather and then we have to wait longer than it already is in the first place

The custodians at Kessler School find needles, feces, and people's garbage on school grounds already. Our kids do not need to be subject to what all this would bring.
