We need more shops that sell children's clothing and footwear, more shops for the population that aren't size 10's, and more shops for decent mens wear.

Think there should be more choices of shops in Motherwell as its like a ghost town in the place now no shops to shop in hardly any shops for kids clothing

Motherwell town centre was once thriving.... not just because of the steel works and Ravenscraig but because of the nice shops that attracted locals and people from surrounding towns. Motherwell TC needs to compete with todays market and can only do so with shops like M&S, Next etc.. This encourages economic growth which the people of Motherwell would indirectly benefit from. since losing the craig and more recently the steel works the people of motherwell deserve a better outlook for the future.

God where do we start?
Hundreds of thousands on new block paths that are basically covered in crap (they need power washed)
Junkies everywhere! Get the cops to move them on, I'm sure if it was a bunch of wee 15 yr olds hanging about outside mcdonalds the police would be right over at them.
How many e-fag, bookies, and hairdressers do we need to open in the one town?
Ok we've got a few big chains moved in, KFC, Costa but the place need independent specialist retailers and we need them to last. The rents and council rates are through the roof putting pressure on them. Some of the shops have lay empty for over 10 years.
The full place needs completely roofed over like the Regents in Hamilton.
Nothing is happening up at the ravenscraig for the forseable future.

I'm signing this petition because the lack of decent retail shops is unreal. Absolutely rubbish with nothing for women or kids. We need more.
