The "centre" is a joke you can't get moving from the junkies most of the time the shops are a disgrace also

Motherwell Town Centre is a disgrace, no decent shops so everyone goes elsewhere. You cannot walk through the centre without groups of people waiting to get into chemists's for their "medicine".

Mwell town centre is an absolute embarrassment! Full of second hand/charity and Betting shops! DISGRACEFUL!! Not to mention the Local "corner/hangout" for junkies and alkies asking for a quid whilst entering or exiting shops!

Motherwell used to have some great shops. Now unless u need a chemist. Card shop or charity shop then don't try shopping here

I had family over from Canada last yr and before I would bring them to Motherwell shopping centre I took them to hamilton and Glasgow it's a total disgrace am ashamed to say Motherwell is my home town, get something done befor it's to .

Motherwell town centre is falling apart! Too many shops are opening that aren't needed. The town is full of charity shops,E-cigarette shops which aren't needed to be honest! Bring some life back to Motherwell centre and introduce a brand new and affordable shopping expierience with new clothes shops! Save our town..Motherwell needs a revamp!

Motherwell used to be a great town until they screwed it up.All you have is fat (fast) food shops ,phone shops .Where have all the grocery,fruit and veg .The shops now nave no friendly feeling to them Give us back Motherwell.

I work in one of the shops in Motherwell and it's a joke! The rent is way to high and puts off any businesses wanting to invest in the area! Ghost town

I'm a Motherwell born man and am disgusted at the behaviour of NLC and the private owners of the town centre in their joint enterprise of running Motherwell into the ground ,a once thriving and proud town,now beginning to look like it needs the WHO and UNICEF to get this town back on the map,to those responsible,hang your heads in shame and resign from your positions
