I have been reading your messages about the history of this tradition and I am truly humbled by how many of you feel the same way. It is the stories you share that keep me going even when I feel like I am just shouting into the void. Honestly I started this as a small idea and it has become something far greater because of you.

I truly never imagined that so many people would care about seeing Morris dancers at the opening ceremony. The momentum behind this is entirely due to your enthusiasm and I am honestly speechless.

Make it happen. It is tradition after all.
My grandad was a morris dancer his whole life and he would have loved this. do it for the heritage!!
Waste of money. Why would we want to show the world that? Embarrassing.
Finally some real british culture instead of all that pop rubbish. get them in the stadium its about time!
the bells the hankies the music... it is proper english history and it belongs at the games. get it sorted

This would be so cool to see. Imagine 2000 dancers all at once, it would be legendary.
