In episodes #138 (6x25) “Aliyah” and #139 (7x01) “Truth or Consequences” on NCIS, we learn that character Ziva David was captured by a terrorist camp in Somalia, where she was held and tortured for information for three months. Although the show has addressed what happened prior to her capture in episode #142 (7x04) “Good Cop, Bad Cop,” and has also made allusions to Somalia several times, we feel that the story line is still unacknowledged and under-developed in general. Thus, we would like to petition for “Somalia” to be brought up on the show. In particular, we would like to know more specifically what had happened while Ziva had been held captive, or what physical or psychological scars she may have brought back from her time there. We hope that there will be a flashback, memory, or retelling of Ziva’s time in captivity so that we may be better acquainted with her past and what had actually happened during the summer she went missing.
