I take my UTV which is wider than 50" and it is fine two older people need a little easier ability to get in and out of the side by sides and our weight size is a little larger need more comfort for long rides

I know there are alot of trails available but some of the best are only accesable by 50" or less. People like me with a 60" wide toy are denied

On many trails, the only real reduction of the actual trail width is right at the entry where there are rocks or posts set to limit entry to 50" or less. Once you get past those posts the actual trail widens to easily accommodate wider machines. Therefore, an easy starting place would be to simply widen the entry point and then of course post a wider legal width. Following that easy fix, work could commence on other trails to widen them; a few each year.
On another note, as a responsible rider who loves the outdoors, I really hate to see riders abusing our trails and environment. I say crack down on abusive, irresponsible riders who are tearing up the trails and waterways and stop punishing everyone for the offenses of a few.

I believe that Federal Land Managers should be sued under Americans with Disabilities Act for denying access tp PUBLIC land!
