This is such a worthwhile petition. How is it that the same comments are being made and nothing is being done about it. These children deserve better.

I have a autistic son who is managing in nursery at the minute but still struggles daily with tasks etc he will struggle wen it comes to going to school which I worry there won't be any funding to help him through it so this petition is close to my heart

My child has autism he is in year 6 he is excellent in maths he can do year 9 work but his school is saying that he isn't capable of doing the year 6 work as he is only working at a year 4 level so he is just left to play games and do year 4 work. More things need to be done to help autistic children

As difficult as it is for kids with autism, its much harder for adults, especially when trying to get a diagnosis. So ffar it has taken me a year and a half and still ni date for assessment, in the mean time i am without work, help or supprt.

There needs to be more places where people with this condition feel safe and comfortable to go. I have struggled most of my sons life to find somewhere for him to join in.
