Northwest Georgia Needs More Heart

We need to be able to do open heart surgery at Floyd Medical Center for it's very much needed!

The people living in Floyd Hospital's market area should have a choice and possibly a cheaper option in choosing a local Health provider for their Heart related surgeries and care !!!

We need a hospital that will serve all.

People in Northwest Georgia believe that competition makes everyone better at what they do-- we want a choice for our open heart progam. Please stop the discrimination against African Americans-- look at the data--Floyd Medical has always served the needs of the poor and of the miniorities--it"s just wrong to not allow Floyd Med Center to serve the open heart needs of this same group of people. We need more access and options for open heart surgery

This would be a boon to the black community, who’s life span is 4 years less due to determinate of health including under service of health care

I support Floyd getting this designation to help all our communities

Please allow options to be made for the customers of our region...some of them may never get an opportunity to make a decision like this again if the services are too cost-preventative

The purpose of a Not for Profit hospital is to serve its community. Floyd Medical Center is a Community Hospital with the service of the community at its center. As a Graduate of the residency there, as a former Faculty member and as a Native Roman (I was born in Floyd Hospital) I agree CT surgery for the community demands Floyd be allowed to serve the community in all ways possible and serve ALL the community, not just those with the means to purchase services.

Floyd Medical Center has been the provider of choice for my family for ALL of their healthcare needs. It is most unfortunate that we would be forced to use a facility that is going to be out of our network, escalating medical expenses and increasing our overall anxieties of being in an unfamiliar environment.

We need a choice!! Competition makes patient care better

My husband is a heart patient and we may need this service one day. I hope not but, would love to know it was available in case we do.

Make Open Heart Surgery More Accessible! Floyd Medical Center helps so many people in the area who couldn't otherwise afford treatments.

I Think Floyd Hospital will make an excellent Open Heart Hospital
