Providing open heart surgery at Floyd Medical Center, rather than just our area for-profit hospital, extends all treatment options to any patient who may clinically need the service. This removes the level of insurance coverage and the amount of personal resources from acting as a barrier.

I support Floyd Medical Center's application to provide open-heart surgery. As a medical provider in the area there is a lack of resources for the underprivileged populations, specifically African American, in Northwest Georgia. Our community deserves a choice and Floyd can help provide that choice.

I really believe that everyone should be given a choice for their medical care. When left without a choice a large number of Romes population can't afford openheart surgery.Give the people a choice. Mr. Kemp

This will allow Floyd Medical Center the opportunity to impact the lives of those who do not usually have accessibility to heart care. Floyd Medical has proven it's dedication to ensure that all people in the communities it serves are "Well Beyond Expectation". I believe Floyd will continue this excellence in the arena of heart care.
