Choice is choice. If maternity patients can have a choice of hospitals in our community, heart patients should as well.
Disparities appear to exist. There are underserved populations that Floyd can and will serve.
Let’s level the playing field in Northwest Georgia by allowing Floyd Medical Center to add open heart surgery.
Limiting this service in our community hurts the people who need this service most: patients and their families.
Please, Gov. Kemp, you have seen first-hand the quality of planning, care, compassion, attention to detail and willingness to serve at Floyd Medical Center. Take action now to extend that same approach to patient service excellence to heart patients.
Our cardiology team is experienced, enthusiastic and caring. They will provide clinical expertise through compassionate hands.
