Allowing STRs during this time materially increases our community's risk and exposure to the virus. Our community is small and has many elderly residents, residents with underlying health issues, and truly sick residents who are already vulnerable without the threat of a potentially deadly virus. Further, we do not have the medical facilities, supplies and staffing to effectively treat patients who are tested positive with the virus.

Not allowing STRs to remain functioning is common sense. Obviously financial gain is the basis for keeping them open during a pandemic. Unconscionable!!

travel from endemic areas to those with very few cases violates the tenants of pandemic control

Ignorance is not acceptable in this climate. STRs should be banned year round so we can finally cap the amount of visitors to the amount of hotel rooms available.

We need to ban short term rentals and people from areas that are already in a "shelter in home" situation in their town. They've been exposed to far more people than our small town and they bring that to Incline. It's not worth the additional risk

Its irresponsible to allow people from outside our communities to stay in short term rentals. They bring whatever they've been exposed to into our hometowns and then in the case of incline village, the put a strain on our meager food supplies (we have one major grocery store and one market).

Incline cannot sustain this with our limited hospital capacity, food and necessities... for residents... These rentals should only be for workers during this time

With CA: So Lake Tahoe, Tahoe City, & Truckee already banning STRs, Tahoe tourists all come to NV: Incline Village/Crystal Bay, so we are most under threat of community spread. Please help protect us from an outbreak.

STR's are pulling visitors into Incline from some of the most infected counties in California. Why shut down business and then invite visitors to our state? It makes NO sense.

I live in Incline Village, Washoe County. We are a small vacation community that has a very limited medical infrastructure. Many people from outside the area (mainly from the urban areas of Northern Calif) are coming to our community and utilizing STRs to escape from the stay at home orders in their state. You must sign an executive order to stop this practice.
